Abstract: The data for China’s paper industry in 2008 was released and analysis on the
economic operation of the industry was made in the report. An analysis and comparison on
the production, consumption, import, export, and other indices of pulp, paper and paperboard
based on the first three years of the 10th and 11th Five-Year Plans were also made.
